Bus Links

A number of coach links will be operated as part of the DalesRail programme to extend the range of places that can be reached. All services are provided by the Rail Ramblers and priority will be given to those wishing to take part in a guided walk.
The coach fare is NOT included in your train ticket and you will need to pay supplement to the on train steward to secure a seat.

Important Note:
All buses only connect with the 08.42 Blackpool North to Carlisle and 17.30 Carlisle to
Blackpool North services.

Operates from Dent station to Dent Town and Sedbergh

Wensleydale Link
Operates from Ribblehead station to Leyburn
18 May, 15 June, 10 August, 14 September, 12 October

Swaledale Link
Operates from Ribblehead station to Swaledale
28 September

Special Coach Link from Langwathby Station to Alston, Garrigill and Nenthead
25 May (2 coaches will operate)

Special Coach Link from Langwathby to Castle Carrock, Talkin Tarn and Lanercost Priory
29 June (2 coaches will operate)

Special Coach Link from Langwathby to Hadrian’s Wall
24 August (2 coaches will operate)

Special Coach Link from Kirkby Stephen to Middleton in Teesdale and Barnard Castle
27 July (2 coaches will operate)
